Fund Raising
Stuff for the Poor prides itself on having many different methods of raisng funds to provide for the families and communities we serve. However, no organization can survive with out a steady list of volunteers who can be called upon to organize events, plan parties and galas, and perform the tasks necessary to create the magic in successful fund raising projects. If this is your strength, we have opportunities for you!
Item Collection
From our vast network of partnerhsips with churches, local businesses, and schools to your own neighborhood and homes, everyone likes to give to worthy causes that can change the lives of others and alleviate suffering. We are always collecting gently-used items and always searching for new avenues to increase our collection items. If you know of anyone or any business that is looking to donate any such items, we need you on this team!
Marketing
Marketing materials that speak to the heart are important when trying to reach out to others to offer poverty solutions for our brothers and sister all over the world. If you have skills in graphic design, website hosting, Photshop, Illustrator, Quark, or other programs that are utilized in the creation of such materials, we need you.
Marketing volunteers would work closely with those who manage SFTP fundraisers.
Product Sorting
Volunteers are needed to help us sort through the donated items for placement on a shipping container. This activity would entail a once or twice a month commitment to prepare the items for shipment. |
